Event Description:

This 8 day chakra yoga course is for any seeker who is walking the path of self realization. It will be an all encompassing, multi faceted exploration of the ancient science of yoga and the chakra system. Each day we will we delve into one of the chakras, its physiological location, glandular connection and function, the psychology and archetypal characteristics associated with each chakra and the mental and emotional characteristics that it manifests. There will also be a strong focus on meditation which is an integral part of the yoga practice. Modalities of exploration of the seven centers will include: asanas, pranayama, meditation, yoga nidra, mantra, yantra yoga, nada yoga (chanting of the seed and petal sounds), dance, lectures and presentations, films, fire ceremonies, visual art, creative writing and much more. This is a one of a kind experience filled with information, creativity, self discovery and opportunities to deepen your understanding of yoga and yourself. Cost is $850.00 per person including meals, accomodations and course.
