Synergy Movements
Synergy Movement was created and developed by Ruth Dargan in 1994. It is a combination of Classical Hatha Yoga, Psychotherapy, Science and Religion. Synergy Movement is a uniquely integrated practice which evolves the human spirit and the biomechanical human body synergistically, creating a powerful resonance between body, mind and spirit which may be felt and sensed in the core of the human experience.
Synergy Movement programs are new approach to physical conditioning. Synergy Movement holistically empowers, strengthens, generates self-confidence, allows for stress management and creates inner peace. The result is, an enhanced self-conscious, self-directed you.
Synergy Movement is the combined interaction of the Principles of Practice with the Magic of the Movement. The result effects of this unique combination are a euphoric experience which exceeds the experience of any individual principle on its own. It is an exceptionally unique way of training in that it is taught and learned in four levels allowing participants to grade their own practice with unlimited instructional support. Participants are clear about where they are and where they are headed. The experience of the future always remains a delightful mystery, but the participation in ones evolution is understood.

Yoga from the Heart Canada
Yoga from the Heart Canada is an artistic Spirit-based form of yoga designed specifically to meet the needs of Westerners with their fast pace of life, and their relatively solid inflexible bodies. It is a devotional expression of inner awareness. The classical postures of Hatha yoga are practised actively, but in a new sensitive way. The body is used creatively as a tool to develop inner qualities of strength and stability, surrender and devotion, concentration and calmness. We work with consciousness exercises in which we learn to perceive a deeper side of ourselves, of others, and of life. The classes also consist of pranayama (breathing exercises), mantra chanting, deep relaxation, meditative readings, and advice on home practice. This yoga develops confidence, and a new sensitivity, and uncovers an inner peace which helps one to cope with the hectic lifestyle most of us find ourselves living.
If you are interested in experiencing this approach to yoga, and its' integration into everyday life, there are regular weekly classes taking place in Kensington Market, downtown Toronto. You are most welcome to come and try out a class on a trial basis. Check out the website and contact the teacher Anne Parsonage.
