Cynthia is the co-owner of The Yoga Sanctuary. She received her first Yoga Teacher Training Certificate at Yoga Works in Los Angeles. Cynthia has studied numerous times with Ashtanga guru, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and completed an Ashtanga Teacher Training with David Swenson. She studied extensively with Toronto teacher, Esther Myers.
She began teaching in the greater Toronto area in 1997 in public schools, hospitals, private and public gyms. Cynthia expanded her teaching practice to include corporate classes as well as leading retreats.
For the past 9 years Cynthia has both created and taught The Yoga Sanctuary Yoga Teacher Training 250 hour course. She teaches the Advanced Yoga Teacher Training 300 hour course, as well as the Pre-Natal Yoga Teacher Training.
Cynthia has participated as faculty of The Yoga Show in 2002, 2003 and 2008. Her instructional yoga CD of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga is available in both a short-form series and in the long-form as a double CD.
Cynthia brings love, light and the insights of many teachers to her classes. Her passion for yoga inspires and motivates her students to reach their goals, whether it is inner peace, body awareness or building self-confidence.

Mary Elizabeth Cawfield is the owner of BodyMind HealthWorks which she founded in 1989. Goddess Yoga and Integrated Yoga Therapy are divisions of BodyMind.
Mary Elizabeth comes with 24 years as a master trainer, coach, motivator and facilitator. She is an RN and medical exercise specialist with physicians referring patients to her to custom design nutrition, strength training and cardiovascular programmes. ACE has certified her as a top level trainer and she is a member of Can-Fit-Pro. Life coaching is also provided as her post grad work was in psychiatry. A retired competitive bodybuilder, she holds several titles including the Ontario Master Women's Championship in 1992. Mary Elizabeth was one of the hosts on the TV program "Flex for Fitness" which started airing in 1998. She is the FIRST CANADIAN certified in GODDESS YOGA which is Kripalu and Prana based with a strong focus on Mother Nature and on nurturing, reviving and replenishing your feminine essence. She has trained directly with creator Sierra Bender and continues to assist Sierra in workshops. She has created INTEGRATED YOGA THERAPY which allows men and women to acquire what they desire, require and deserve through yoga and empowerment affirmation. This yoga is a coaching tool facilitating change physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally. Practice is in her candle lit studio with limited numbers in Unionville, Ontario.
