Cynthia is the co-owner of The Yoga Sanctuary. She received her first Yoga Teacher Training Certificate at Yoga Works in Los Angeles. Cynthia has studied numerous times with Ashtanga guru, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and completed an Ashtanga Teacher Training with David Swenson. She studied extensively with Toronto teacher, Esther Myers.
She began teaching in the greater Toronto area in 1997 in public schools, hospitals, private and public gyms. Cynthia expanded her teaching practice to include corporate classes as well as leading retreats.
For the past 9 years Cynthia has both created and taught The Yoga Sanctuary Yoga Teacher Training 250 hour course. She teaches the Advanced Yoga Teacher Training 300 hour course, as well as the Pre-Natal Yoga Teacher Training.
Cynthia has participated as faculty of The Yoga Show in 2002, 2003 and 2008. Her instructional yoga CD of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga is available in both a short-form series and in the long-form as a double CD.
Cynthia brings love, light and the insights of many teachers to her classes. Her passion for yoga inspires and motivates her students to reach their goals, whether it is inner peace, body awareness or building self-confidence.

Guru Fatha Singh Khalsa is a longtime teacher and master of Kundalini Yoga. He studied under Yogi Bhajan from 1972 until his passing in 2004.
Guru Fatha has given workshops at annual Kundalini Yoga gatherings in New Mexico and Florida. He has also taught in Ecuador and served on the faculty of the Toronto Yoga Show.
He has given thousands of classes and workshops in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and London, and offers weekly, affordable sessions from Brampton to Etobicoke to downtown to Scarborough East.
In September 2010, Guru Fatha Singh will collaborate with Gurutej Kaur of Los Angeles on a 220 hour, 10-month Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Toronto.

Ruth provides unique themes and structures that allow individuals to meet their goals while respecting their capacity. She actively encourages individuals to explore feelings and emotions.
Owner of Seven Seeds Studio in Leslieville, just west of the Beaches, Sheila is passionate about sharing her love of yoga with her community. She has been a yoga practitioner for 20 years. She has additional certification in "Yoga of the Heart" a yoga/relaxation and meditation program for individuals with heart disease or other debilitating illness. Sheila is also a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Offering private sessions, group classes and workshops at her studio, Sheila's passion for creating sangha is contagious!
Sherry LeBlanc, Director of Yoga 4 Kids teaches yoga and meditation to children of all ages and abilities in many locations throughout the greater Toronto area. Sherry is a licensed practitioner of Yoga for the Special Child (TM) and teaches Yoga Therapy to children with special needs. Professional development workshops are available for adults who want to learn how to teach yoga to children.
Vivien Stollmeyer has been teaching Yoga for 17 years, and has been inspired by Vanda Scaravelli. She also teaches Qigong in her studio in Carrot Common, above Book City.
